2. Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Petprint, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Petprint.
If you download Petprint through Apple's App Store, Apple's terms, payment rules, and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement may also apply. If there is a conflict between Apple's terms and these terms for App Store billing or distribution, Apple's terms control for that issue.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into these terms. Petprint is not intended for use by children without appropriate parental or guardian consent.
You are responsible for your account, your device, and the people you invite to your household. Keep invitation codes and temporary access links private. If you believe your account or household has been accessed without permission, contact us promptly.
4. The Petprint service
Petprint helps households preserve and privately share pet memories, profiles, photos, videos, voice recordings, care logs, replies, reactions, exports, and related settings. We may improve, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features over time.
Petprint is not a veterinary, medical, emergency, or professional pet-care service. Care logs, reminders, and notifications are convenience features only. You remain responsible for your pets' care, safety, health, and wellbeing.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, videos, voice recordings, stories, care entries, replies, reactions, pet information, and other content you add to Petprint.
You give Petprint the limited rights needed to operate the service: to host, store, process, display, sync, back up, transmit, export, and share your content with the household members and temporary-access users you authorize. This permission lasts for as long as needed to provide Petprint and handle deletion, export, backup, legal, and security obligations.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share your content, including any media that includes other people, pets, locations, or copyrighted material.
6. Household sharing and temporary access
Household content may be visible to other members of the same household according to their role and access level. If you invite someone, you are responsible for making sure they should have access to that household's pets and memories.
Temporary access is intended for limited use, such as pet-sitter access. Do not use temporary access to bypass account security, payment limits, or household permissions.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Petprint for unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, or deceptive purposes;
- upload content that infringes another person's rights or violates applicable law;
- attempt to access another household, account, or data without permission;
- interfere with, overload, or disrupt Petprint or its providers;
- upload malware or content designed to compromise the service or another user;
- misrepresent your identity, ownership of pets, or authority to share household content.
8. Purchases, subscriptions, and ads
Petprint may offer free features, subscriptions, lifetime upgrades, premium household limits, and ad-free purchases. Product availability, feature limits, and prices may change over time.
App Store purchases are billed and managed by Apple. Apple controls payment processing, renewals, cancellations, refund decisions, and applicable taxes. You can manage subscriptions and purchases through your Apple account settings.
Where ads are enabled, Petprint may show advertising unless you have an active ad-free entitlement. Advertising consent and privacy choices may be managed in the app where available.
9. Exports, account deletion, and termination
Petprint may provide tools to export memories or request an account archive. You can delete your account in the app. Some content may remain if it is part of shared household data, if another member has rights to retain it, if backups have not yet expired, or if retention is required for legal, security, or transaction reasons.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for other users, misuse the service, or if we are required to do so by law.
10. Third-party services
Petprint relies on third-party services, including Apple, Google, and Cloudflare. These third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.
11. Intellectual property
Petprint, its name, app design, website, software, branding, and related materials are owned by Weavo or its licensors. These terms do not give you ownership of Petprint's intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from Petprint except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
12. Disclaimers
Petprint is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Weavo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost memories, service interruptions, device issues, or unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws.
14. Indemnity
If your use of Petprint, your content, or your violation of these terms causes claims, losses, damages, or expenses, you agree to reimburse Weavo to the extent permitted by law. This does not limit any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Petprint changes. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice where required. Continuing to use Petprint after updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms.
