2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to the Petprint iOS app, Petprint's website, and related services that help you create, sync, share, export, and preserve pet memories with your household.
3. Information we collect
Account and authentication information
When you sign in with Apple, we receive the information needed to create and protect your account, such as an account identifier from Apple and, if Apple shares them with us, your name and email address. Sign-in is handled through a secure authentication provider.
Household, pet, and memory content
Petprint stores the information you and your household add to the app, including household names, member profiles, pet profiles, pet names, photos, videos, voice recordings, written stories, care logs, replies, reactions, album settings, invitation details, and details about each memory, such as dates.
Media and device permissions
If you choose to add photos, videos, or voice memories, the app asks for the required iOS permissions, such as camera, microphone, and photo library access. We use these permissions only to provide the features you request.
App activity and settings
To operate the service, we may process account and household membership details, app settings, sync status, notification preferences, crash or diagnostic information, feature usage events, purchase entitlement status, and advertising consent choices. Petprint's analytics are designed to avoid sending private content such as pet names, story text, emails, invite codes, and other private household details.
Website information
The website is an informational site. We do not intentionally collect personal information through forms on the site. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send. Our hosting provider may process basic connection and usage information needed to keep the site secure and running.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- create and secure your account;
- sync memories, pets, household members, media, replies, reactions, and care logs;
- store private household media and make it available to authorized household members;
- send notifications you enable, such as reminders, replies, reactions, and on-this-day memories;
- provide exports, account deletion, imports, and support;
- process purchases and maintain premium or ad-free entitlements;
- show ads and manage ad consent where advertising is enabled;
- detect abuse, protect the service, troubleshoot issues, and improve Petprint.
5. How information is shared
With your household. Content you add to a household can be seen by other authorized household members according to their role and access level.
With service providers. We use trusted providers to run Petprint, including Google services for sign-in, syncing your data, storage, notifications, understanding how the app is used, and hosting. Cloudflare stores household photos, videos, and voice recordings. Where ads are enabled, Google Mobile Ads and Google's consent tools may process data according to your consent choices and applicable law. Apple processes Sign in with Apple, App Store downloads, payments, refunds, and device permissions.
For legal, safety, and business reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service, to enforce our terms, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, provided appropriate protections are applied.
We do not sell your private pet memories, photos, voice recordings, videos, or household content.
6. Storage, security, and international processing
Petprint uses Google and Cloudflare services to store household information and media. We use sign-in, access controls, and household permissions so that private household data is available only to authorized users. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration.
Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards for international transfers.
7. Retention, exports, and deletion
We keep account, household, pet, memory, care, and media information for as long as needed to provide Petprint, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. You can request an account data export in the app. You can also delete your account in the app and choose whether to request an archive and whether shared household data should be removed where possible.
Some information may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, transaction records, or where retention is required by law or needed for security and fraud prevention.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, object to, or restrict the processing of your personal information. You can manage many choices in the app, including notification settings, ad privacy choices where available, account export, and account deletion.

9. Children
Petprint is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Petprint without appropriate consent, contact us and we will review the request.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Petprint changes. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide additional notice where required.
